Rates: All prices are per person per night in £ sterling and are inclusive of dinner, bed and continental breakfast. All course fees are inclusive of tuition fees. We accept VISA / MASTERCARD / MAESTRO. Please make cheques payable to St Deiniol's Library.
Testimonial Forms: If you are a new visitor to St Deiniol’s Library, please complete a testimonial form and return it to the Bookings Secretary.
Deposits for Accommodation: A non-refundable non-transferable deposit of £25 is required for each individual booking at St Deiniol’s Library. Please complete the relevant booking form. £25 will be charged as a cancellation fee for each person cancelling their booking. Group bookings – Bookings can be secured with a 50% deposit of the total residential cost. The balance of the residential cost is payable 14 days in advance.
“Room only” deposits for Conference Rooms: Full payment is required as a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit for each conference “room only” booking.
Day Conference Groups: 50% of the total Inclusive Conference Fee is payable as a non-refundable, non-returnable deposit for each group booked. Payment for the full amount due is payable 14 days in advance or when booking if within 14 days. 24hrs notice is required for any change of numbers attending. In case of later cancellation, groups will be charged for all the booked participants.
Payment of Accounts: For group accounts, full payment for the residential charges is due 14 days in advance of booking. Outstanding group accounts including the daily conference rate should be settled within 30 days. For all individual room accounts, the balance of payment is due on departure.
Availability: All bookings are subject to availability and are accepted at the Warden’s discretion. The Warden reserves the right to cancel, modify or terminate a reservation without notice or reason. Please note that only one special offer may be used per booking. Special offers are not valid in conjunction with courses unless explicitly stated.
Cancellation Fees: Please note that if a booking is cancelled with 14 days notice or more there will be no charge but the deposit will be retained. If a booking is cancelled with less than 14 days the full amount due for the accommodation/conference room booked will be payable. Please ensure that you have adequate insurance to cover a cancellation or a curtailed stay.
Car Parking is available in the car park. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss of or damage to vehicles or contents and parking is entirely at the owner’s risk.
Lost Keys: £15 will be added to the main account for any lost room keys.
Time of Arrival and Departure: Please aim to arrive at St Deiniol’s Library between 2pm and 5pm. Rooms should be vacated by 10am. Readers wishing to make use of the Library facilities before arrival and after departure may do so but should check in on arrival and return to collect their keys from reception after 2pm; on the morning of departure, they should vacate their rooms and check out at Reception before using the Library.
Special Diets: We are able to cater for most dietary needs and allergies at St Deiniol’s Library. Please ensure that all such requirements are clearly indicated on the booking form and when you check in on arrival. While every care is taken to make sure that suitable meals are provided, the kitchen staff are not specialists in the management of special diets and allergies and we cannot guarantee the suitability of every meal in this respect nor accept responsibility for any illness/injury which may arise due to allergies.
A suggested donation to St Deiniol's Library of £3 per day will be added to all residential invoices. This enables us to keep our basic rates low whist encouraging those who can pay more to do so. The donation may be amended or removed from the invoice on request. It can be gift-aided on the invoice by all UK income tax and Capital Gains tax payers. For every donation of £1, Gift Aid will currently enable us to reclaim an extra 28p.
Data Protection: St Deiniol's Library keeps details of the names and addresses of guests in our bookings computer database. Customers may receive a copy of all information held on their record on request. The data is not sold or divulged to outside parties.
