Get Involved with the Islam Project

Spread the Word

With the House of Wisdom almost ready, the most important task ahead of us is to get people using it. As we are a charity with a very modest marketing budget, we depend greatly upon our friends and visitors to spread the word about what the library has to offer.

So if you know any students, academics or interfaith workers who would be interested in visiting the House of Wisdom for a study retreat, or anyone at all interested in expanding their knowledge about Islam, do please pass on our web address or ask them to get in touch with us at [email protected]

Donate

Of course, we would gratefully receive any financial donations to help us expand the collection. If you would like to make a specific donation to the work of the Islam project, do please get in touch with our Warden, Peter Francis. If you would like to donate books on Islam to the House of Wisdom, please contact our Head Librarian, Patsy Williams.

Volunteer

The work of the library depends greatly upon the work of our valued volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering in the Library to help manage and develop the House of Wisdom, or the rest of the collection, please contact Patsy Williams.

Internships

From time to time, we offer opportunities to become a live-in intern at the library to work on a specific project. Calls for Islam Project interns will be posted here, so please check back regularly.
