Reading Room Status
Official Opening 08.10.11
Gladstone's Library is opening its new Islamic Reading Room on Saturday 8 October. The Islamic Reading Room which has been named the 'House of Wisdom will be opened by Tariq Ramadan, Professor of Contemporary Islamic Studies at Oxford University.
Books Arriving, Nearly Ready! 29.05.11
Dewey classification over, the collection is starting to take shape as the books arrive and are processed. Refurbishment of the reading room itself is due to take place over the coming month, and hopefully we'll be up and running by July. But keep checking back here for more news!
