St Deiniol's is the UK's finest residential library and one of the top small conference destinations in North Wales. Founded in 1889 by William Ewart Gladstone, St Deiniol's is located in the picturesque village of Hawarden, just 10 minutes drive from Chester and 15 minutes from the M56 motorway.
Apart from the Library itself, visitors can enjoy homemade meals in our newly refurbished restaurant, relax in comfortable accommodation, browse our Gladstone Exhibition or reflect in the tranquil atmosphere of our new chapel. What's more, our state-of-the-art meeting rooms and conference facilities can be hired for functions such as business meetings, training courses or seminars. Last but not least, we offer a wide range of stimulating in-house courses running through the year and open to anyone wishing to attend.
